The Clutch Cable Hollow Bolt is designed to help guide the clutch cable of a 2-stroke bicycle engine kit from the front of the engine back to the clutch arm, providing a smooth and straight path for your clutch cable to engage and disengage.

Not having a hollow bolt in your clutch screw base can affect the engagement and disengagement of your engine. The hollow bolt not only helps with the path of the clutch cable, but also helping the heat shield and clutch springs to compress and expand. Really, without the hollow bolt you’re going to have a tough time engaging and disengaging your motor consistently.

To install this screw, follow these simple instructions:

• Remove the clutch cable and its springs from the motor, exposing the clutch screw base and the hollow bolt
• Remove the stock hollow bolt from the clutch screw base and check the threading on the screw base to ensure it is not stripped (the stripped, simply replace the clutch screw base with another)
• Install the new hollow bolt in to your screw base
• Re-install the clutch cable and springs, then lock the clutch cable in with a clutch wire clip
