The extreme power of the Baja Mountain folding e-bike comes from the 500 watt motor: a Bafang zero resistance clutch motor, complete with digital torque sensor for optimal performance. Connected to a LiPo4 built-in battery pack (48 volt, 8 amp hour), this electric motor can pack a lot of punch, both in terms of range and speed. In fact, the Baja Mountain folding e-bike is the fastest model currently available from X-Treme. The Smart PAS program, when used on a low setting, enables riders to travel up to 70 miles on a single battery charge.

Since the Baja Mountain e-bike folds completely in half it is an excellent electric bicycle for any riders with limited storage space or those who like to take their e-bike on vacation with them. Even the wheels of this portable e-bike have been designed for easy removal to minimize the overall size even further, with a waterproof quick disconnect for the back wheel and a quick release axle at the front.

The X-Treme 500W Baja Mountain folding e-bike is decked out with all the latest and greatest in electric bicycle components including a Suntour front suspension fork, KS rear shock suspension system, A Shimano 9 speed gearing array and Tektro disc brakes (front and rear) all included as standard.
